The Brew of Thorns is a throwable potion that will cause a four block high cactus to grow where it lands. If the brew hits a creature it will instead surround the creature with one block high cacti. If the brew hits a wall it will bounce off doing nothing; it can be picked up again if this occurs. Hitting a cactus with the brew will cause it to grow higher!
The Brew of Thorns is created in a kettle using the recipe found in the book Witchcraft: Brews & Infusions. Into the pot, throw Cactus Green, Brown Mushroom, Oil of Vitriol, Odour of Purity, Red Flower and Mandrake Root. Wear a Witches Hat (and/or robes) while brewing to get more brews than just three. |
