 The vines can climb or descend step formations in rock walls so long as they do not move back more than one block per block risen. This means that a sheer wall that ascends six blocks then there is a step and then another ascent of six blocks will be scaled by a single brew of vines. Having a toad familiar increases this to two blocks distance. Vines will tunnel though leaves, allowing an easy way to ascend most trees. If the brew does not hit a vertical surface, it will bounce off and can be picked up again. The Brew of Vines is created in a kettle using the recipe found in the book Witchcraft: Brews & Infusions. Add to the kettle Vines, Brown Mushroom, Red Mushroom, Tongue of Dog, Wheat and Reek of Misfortune. Wear a Witches Hat (and/or robes) while brewing to get more brews than just three. |
