Rite of Binding

The rite of binding is used to bind something in the vicinity to an item. The circles, foci items and power needs of this rite, like all other rites, can be found in the book, Witchery: Circle Magic.

Circle Talisman

Using a Circle Talisman in the rite will bind all of the drawn circles around the heart glyph, to the talisman, so they may be drawn automatically at a later time.

Waystone

Using a Waystone in the rite will bind the location of the rite to the Waystone so that it can later be used to target the bound location; for example in a Rite of Transposition.

Adding a bound Waystone to the rite will instead copy the binding to the blank Waystone.

A final variation of this rite binds the location of a player, creating a Blooded Waystone.

Familiar

Using a suitable tamed animal (cat, toad or owl), this Rite will summon a minor demon to inhabit that creature becoming the witch's (or warlock's) familiar.

Fetish Object

A Scarecrow, Trent Effigy or Witch's Ladder can be used to bind spectral creatures in various combinations and to achieve various effects. See the book, Witchcraft: Conjuration & Fetishes for a complete list of recipes.

Spectral Stone

Up to three aggressive spectral creatures of the same type can be bound to a spectral stone and summoned from it at a later date when needed.

Statue of Hobgoblin Patron

Binds the witch standing in the circle to the Statue so that it can be used to redirect the power of Hobgoblin worship to the witch.
