A coffin can be used by vampires to sleep in. They differ from normal beds, for they allow the vampire player to sleep thought the day. In order to sleep in a coffin, the player must first open it, by sneak-using it (shift right-click), and then right clicking on it as normal. Sleeping in a coffin sets the player's spawn point to the location of the coffin. Taglock Kits work on a coffin in the same way as they do other beds.
Sleeping though the day on a multiplayer server, requires all players to sleep. A vampire may sleep in a bed to sleep though the night as usual on a mlutiplayer server.
A coffin is made from a bed, wood logs and wooden planks.
