Witch Hunter Armor

Witch hunters need to have protection from their prey, and to this end they have developed a curing process for leather that makes it inherently resistant to magics, especially black magic. The only caveat being that the entire body must be covered for the protection to have its effect.

Witch Hunter Armor offers the same protection as leather armor but is much more durable (approaching that of iron armor). It is repaired in an anvil with normal leather pieces. It can also be dyed.

Witch Hunter Armor offers varying degrees of magical mitigation so long as the entire set is worn:
  • 25% chance to mitigate general magical damage
  • 25% chance to mitigate the effects of a voodoo poppet
  • 90% chance to mitigate the Curse of Waking Nightmare
  • 90% chance to mitigate the Curse of Misfortune
  • 90% chance to resist being summoned with a Rite of Transposition
  • 100% chance to mitigate the effects of a Vampiric Poppet
Protection Poppets (e.g. Earth, Voodoo Protection) bound to a Witch Hunter wearing the full armor set will also not function.

A Nullifying Bolt's effects can only occur if the shooter is fully clad in Witch Hunter Armor.

Witch Hunter Armor is made in a crafting table using Nullified Leather.

Witch Hunter Armor can be upgraded to Silvered Hunter Armor for protection against werewolves.
