Parasytic Louse

A parasytic Louse is a hybrid of plant and silverfish that will movew towards and try to bite whoever is near. Its bite does almost no damage. A Parasytic louse can be picked up by interacting with it (right-click), or killed by hitting it. A Parasytic louse that has been picked up, can be placed in the world by using it on a block.

A parasytic louse can be fed any drinkable potion by crafting the louse with the potion in a crafting table. If the louse subsequently bites a player, the potion will be applied to that player though the bite. The louse must now be fed another potion.

If a louse has been fed a potion and the louse is on a players hot bar, if the player is hit by another creature, the louse will bite the player or the attacker and inject the potion (beneficial potions apply to the wearer, negative potions the attacker). Multiple louses can be placed on a player's hotbar, but only one will bite per hit.

A Parasytic Louse is created by mutating a Silverfish with Lily Pads. Place a Critter Snare containing a silverfish on the ground and surrounding it with Lily Pads each above a still water block. Place Grassper plants on the diagonal corners of the Critter Snares. Place a charged attuned stone in one of the Grasspers, Tongue of Dog in another and Mutandis in the other two. Finally, use a mutating sprig on the Critter Trap, a Paraysitic Louse will be created from the Silverfish. Right-click to pick up the Louse.
