A Winged Monkey, is quite literally a monkey with wings. The are useful for fetching creatures or carrying their owner to places. A winged monkey will defend its owner to the death. A Winged Monkey can be tamed by giving it raw pork or beef. Once tamed it can be instructed to sit by right-clicking it, do so again to make it stand. A tamed monkey will follow its owner and fight for them.
A tamed Winged Monkey may be dyed by holding the dye and right-clicking on the Monkey.
Giving a Winged Monkey a Taglock Kit bound to a creature or player, will cause the monkey to fly towards that entity, pick them up, and carry them back to the location where they were given the taglock kit. The entity will then be dropped and the Monkey will sit. The Taglock Kit will be consumed. Giving a Winged Monkey a Bound Waystone, or a Blooded Waystone, will cause the Monkey to pick up the player and then fly to the bound location with the player. When the bound location is reached, the player will be dropped off and the Monkey will sit. The waystone will not be consumed.
A winged monkey is made via mutation, by using a Mutating Sprig on a cobweb, above water, containing an Owl and a Wolf. The cobweb must be surround on each direct side by a fully grown cocoa bean. Grasspers must be adjacent diagonally, containing two Mutandis Extremis, a Poppy and a Charged Attuned Stone. Once created, the monkey will need to be tamed. |
