The Rite of Prior Incarnation is a practical use of necromancy. The rite summons a prior incarnation of a player at the time that they died, the truly useful thing about this rite, is that the rite also resurrects any items that may have despawned after the last death. This rite must be performed within 16 blocks of where the player died, and the player in question must stand in the circle. Only despawned items from the last death will be recovered. Don't die on the way back! The circles, foci items and power needs of this rite, like all other rites, can be found in the book, Witchery: Circle Magic. The Rite of Prior incarnation can be enabled/disabled in the Witchery config file, and it will automatically be disabled if a known Death Chest style mod is found (or Keep Inventory mode is active). In general, having more than one death-chest style effect active at once will cause problems (please note that OpenBlocks also includes such a feature!) |
